Marble
Marble is mainly used for interior applications, because of its extensive colour palette and the various possible textures including polished, honed, leather. Applications for marble include flooring, stairs, fireplaces, custom work in contemporary, austere, modern and classic interiors.
Marble is not entirely scratch-resistant and stain-sensitive, especially for products of acidic origin; use the appropriate protection and maintenance products.
Marble is a metamorphosed limestone, consisting of very pure calcium carbonate. The temperatures and pressures required to transform limestone into marble are so high that any fossils present in the limestone are destroyed.
Marble is often named after the place where it is extracted.
